		Hertfordshire Bowls commenced their 2010 Middleton Cup campaign with a trip to Northampton on Saturday 5th June. Due to unfortunate
		circumstances the team saw some changes to that which was published initially and expected to play.
		Hertfordshire team managed a win on two rinks and scored 4pts the remaining four rinks were defeated by the Northamptonshire team
		resulting in 18pts to them. The overall score saw a deficit of 16 shots. Hertfordshire 109 shots Northamptonshire 125 shots.
		It was an encouraging performance in many ways from the Hertfordshire team and something to work on for the future.
